Jacob McWherter serves as a Client Service Associate with Spindletop Private Wealth Group, where his attention to detail, organizational abilities, and commitment to serving others make him a valuable member of the team.
A 2019 graduate of Vidor High School, Jacob was an accomplished trumpet player, having played in the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. He also earned a position in the Showcase of Southeast Texas Marching Band at Lamar University.
Jacob initially pursued music with the goal of becoming a band director. While at Lamar University, he assembled and directed the Worship Orchestra at First Baptist Church in Vidor, developing valuable leadership, communication, and organizational skills. He is currently the conductor of The Community Band of Southeast Texas, leading them for the past four years.
Through his education and leadership experiences, Jacob discovered a growing interest in business. He is currently pursuing a business degree while developing his skills in organization, coordination, and client service.
Growing up in a family of business owners, Jacob understands the importance of preparation, personal service, and follow-through. He brings these qualities to his work supporting the clients and financial professionals of Spindletop Private Wealth Group.
Outside of work, Jacob attends church at First Baptist Church in Vidor. He also enjoys cooking, writing music, travelling, planning events, and continuing his lifelong involvement in music.
